Skies then become partly sunny, with highs reaching the lower and middle 40s, about five degrees above seasonable normals. North winds 10-17 mph slowly decreasing. Fair overnight. Lows range from the middle 20s inland to the lower 30s downtown.

Sunday, Dec. 6
Morning clouds bring a chance of flurries, then partly sunny with more snow showers possible in the afternoon and overnight. Afternoon highs cluster around 40.

Monday, Dec. 7
Some lingering morning flurries, then becoming partly sunny. Seasonably chilly with highs near 40. Northeast-north winds 8-15 mph.

Tuesday, Dec. 8
Temperatures on the rebound as winds become southwest. Highs peak in the middle 40s, about 8 degrees above normal.

Wednesday, Dec. 9
Mild for the season as temperatures surge into the middle 50s, more than 15 degrees above normal. Gusty west-southwest winds increase to 12-22 mph.

Thursday, Dec. 10
Temperatures fall back a bit into the upper 40s as clouds filter sunshine and winds shift into the west, but still reach levels more than 10 degrees above normal.

Friday, Dec. 11
More clouds than sun, noticeably chiller with highs only reaching the lower 40s, but still above the normal high in the middle 30s.
